Hey, I went to high school with this guy
Hello everyone, I hope this finds you well.

I am excited to announce the near completion of my debut CD, "All The Wisdom," and just as happy to tell you that there will be TWO CD Release shows to celebrate it! This CD has taken, in some ways, about twenty years for me to make; but the last 8-10 weeks in particular have been particularly frantic - I owe thanks to a lot of people who have helped me in this process. Hopefully you will all agree, the CD sounds amazing ... If you can, please join us at one of these shows.

1. Saturday, May 19th - Cowley's in Farmington, MI. Cowley's is only the coolest place in Farmington! Located next door to the historic Civic Theater at the intersection of Grand River and Farmington. I chose Cowley's as I have performed there before - they feature a great menu and relaxed atmosphere. I am from Farmington, so this will be a "full-circle" type of experience for me. Special Guests "Semi-Productive" will be opening the show; and I will be joined by members of "Space Nelson" and "The Forgotten Sons" on stage. Music starts at 9 pm!

2. Sunday, June 10th - Kraftbrau in Kalamazoo, MI. Kraftbrau is in the heart of downtown Kalamazoo - near Bell's Brewery and the Water Street Coffee Joint. My musical "career" began in Kalamazoo, so this is yet another turn on my "full-circle tour!" Very special guests Bob Wallis and Jeff Moehle will be opening the show with solo acoustic sets, and I will be joined by Martin Klemm on stage as well. As with the first show, expect some surprises. Show starts at 7 p.m., and there is a $5 cover charge.

Both nights promise to be energetic and entertaining. All of the musicians who have agreed to participate are amazing and again, there will be great food and beverages (not to mention alot of cool people!). Door prizes will be awarded too! Otherwise, CD's will be available for $10 at the shows and soon thereafter through my websites at: www.thompsonmusic.net and/or www.myspace.com/thompsonmusic

I hope to see you at one of these shows (or both if you're a complete fanatic!). I also wish all of you a fun and safe summer season!
